About the White House Fellows Project
As America's most prestigious program for leadership development and public service, the nonpartisan White House Fellowship has contributed significantly to the development of many of America's top leaders in business, government, media, academia, the military, law, medicine, and nonprofit life. The White House Fellows Project is a research initiative based at Rice University that examines the role of the White House Fellowship in the lives of America's top leaders. In the program's 45 year history, the White House Fellows Project is the first systematic study of the program and its Fellows. This report, Surveying America's Leadership: A Study of the White House Fellows, details the major findings from the survey completed by White House Fellows, which took place in the fall of 2008. Follow-up interviews and additional analyses are currently underway.
